QPR Gatekeeper Training Workshop

Walker County Youth Alliance is offering community training in QPR, which stands for Question, Persuade, and Refer. It is a short training that teaches everyday adults how to notice warning signs that someone may be thinking about suicide, how to ask about it directly, and how to connect that person to help. This training is for adults 18 and older: parents, coaches, teachers, church and youth leaders, employers, and neighbors. Questions? Email jnon@walkercountyyouthalliance.org. If you or someone you know is in crisis right now, call or text 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.
